Aim of the Program
To provide a deeper understanding of the books of the Bible, to present the main doctrines that are the foundation of the Christian faith, and to explore the major events in the history of the Church.
This program is not just Christian education – it is a journey through the Scriptures to the sources of truth that give strength and understanding, that reveal spiritual truths, that guide and inspire. And yet, we will try to show you how to put this wealth of knowledge to work in your everyday life – how to serve others with your heart and be a source of light.
Study Process
The academic schedule is structured to be manageable and inclusive for all students – single, married, with children, working, attending other schools or educational institutions, and those participating in church ministry.
According to the study schedule, lectures happen approximately once a month, usually taking up a full Saturday and the following Monday and Tuesday nights. You can check the Academic Timetable here.
Two weeks prior to the beginning of the course, the program administrator will send out the Syllabus to the students.
Students must complete a preparatory assignment before each class which is called a “pre-assignment”. Students will also be asked to complete final assignment(s) within the two weeks of completing each course.
Every student should find a mentor for the duration of their studies. LBC can also help facilitate a search for a qualified mentor for the student.
All courses are recorded so that those who cannot join the course in person or online can watch it, and it’s a great option for watching the course again. After completing all the courses, students must pass a comprehensive final exam.
