Aim of the Program

To strengthen churches through biblical counseling therefore to prepare pastors and other church leaders in biblical counseling.

 

Latvian Biblical Centre in co-operation with the Overseas Instruction in Counseling offers Church Leadership Training (CLT) program in Biblical Counseling to benefit churches.

Study Process

A classroom module takes place approximately once every 2 – 3 months on a Thursday night and a full day Friday and Saturday on a particular aspect of Biblical counseling on the main LBC campus in Riga. There are in total 6 modules throughout the program.

Completion of Studies

Upon successful completion of the program, students receive a Certificate in “Church Leadership Training” at a special graduation ceremony.

If the student has already completed another LBC program, he/she will receive the Diploma in Biblical Counseling Leadership (except for the Foundations of Christianity program).

 

The Latvian Biblical Centre is an adult informal further-educational institution registered at the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Latvia.


Admission Requirements

Admission is open to anyone who wants to learn more about soul counseling and to know better God’s Word and His World. Anyone can attend, but the level of instruction and class assignments will be more appropriate for those who have completed secondary education (general education experience).

Application Process

Applications for the 2023-23 academic year can be submitted until 10 October. Otherwise, applications can be submitted until 31 August each year.

 

You will be scheduled for an introductory interview with the LBC director before classes begin.
