Testimonials
What our Students say?
our alumni remember us as well
I like that the same story can be traced in different places in the Scripture; there is an opportunity to look at it from different angles. I also like the fact that the teacher points out various aspects, and there is an opportunity to reflect.
Mark from Jelgava, Latvia
School of Preachers
The Doctrines course is very interesting. I gained a deeper understanding of the Triune God, the meaning of each personality, and the mission of human life.
Liene from Riga, Latvia
Theology and Ministry
Thank you for this comprehensive description of the development of the Christian community in the East and West. Very relevant in the current war situation.
Alise from Lielvarde, Latvia
Theology and Ministry
This study program helped lift myself up and kept me moving forward without losing focus. It showed me a different perspective of what the Bible says about work. It helped me find a balance between faith, work and family.
Vinita from Lielvarde, Latvia
Christianity, Work and Society
One of the benefits is to study in an inter-denominational environment where you can see how the preaching of God's Word is fulfilled by brothers in other traditions. I am grateful for the content and for the opportunity to see how homiletics, the art of preaching, can be taught to others.
Rinalds Grants – Riga St. Gertrude’s Old Church
School of Preachers
I gained and learned a lot, and it was really valuable! You might call the School of Preachers Program a journey: to grow, understand, get to know and see preaching from the inside.
Janis Sadovskis – Riga Hope Pentecostal Church
School of Preachers
A very good opportunity!!! Personally, I recommend studying at LBC.
Evita from Riga, Latvia
Christianity, Work and Society
Excellent course, excellent teachers. I recommend it to every manager or leader.
Ineta from Sigulda, Latvia
Christianity, Work and Society
I joined this program to learn more about how to be an effective Christian in my workplace. During the study process, I was exposed to a broader view of the theme of work in Scripture. When we see the meaning and nature of work as God sees it, we end up seeing work not only as a duty but also as part of our vocation.
Marika from Riga, Latvia
Christianity, Work and Society
As we have gone through this year, we have repeatedly seen that we cannot pass by any of our fellow human beings when we go to the nations. Almost a quarter of our week is spent at work. And during this time, GOD brings us to someone, or urges us to come to people, to witness for Him.
Janis Balodis – Aizpute Baptist Church, Latvia
Christianity, Work and Society
The course "Introduction to Church History" was very interesting, I wanted to listen and listen, as if I were in time and you were a participant in all the actions that were happening... I really enjoyed it.
Santa from Riga, Latvia
Theology and Ministry
Thanks to the courses "Self-forgiveness;" and "Burnout and Depression" I was able to see my state of mind and learned a lot about myself. The explanations + exercises gave good results, I could finally recall when I was really happy!
Lily from Portugal
Introduction to Church Counseling
The program helps to understand why things happen the way they are. We learn, with the help of the Holy Spirit, to look for the root of the problems we face, and we also learn to hear and understand what we hear. It is easy to judge people, but it always takes time to help them. Bible says "A man reaps what he sows." (Gal. 6:7). Therefore, do not be afraid to sow into the spirit and you will reap eternal life!
