– Personal data: any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person<\/span>. An<\/span> identifiable natural person shall be one <\/span>that can be<\/span> identified directly or indirectly,<\/span> by reference to an identifier in particular, i.e.<\/span> that person’s given name, surname, identification number, location data, online identifier or one or more of the physical characteristics, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity factors.<\/span><\/p>\n

– Processing of personal data: any activity or set of activities carried out with or without automated means with or without personal data, such as the collection, registration, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation or modification, recovery, viewing, use, disclosure, sending, disseminating or otherwise making them <\/span>available; harmonizing or combining, containing, erasing or destructing.<\/span><\/p>\n

– Controller: a natural or legal person who, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of processing personal data.<\/span><\/p>\n

– Processor: natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body processing Personal Data on behalf of the controller.<\/span><\/p>\n

– The data <\/span>subject: a<\/span> natural person identified or identifiable directly or indirectly – visitors and users of the Internet site<\/span> www.bible.lv<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

LEGAL BASIS FOR THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA<\/b><\/span><\/h4>\n

Latvian Biblical Centre shall process Personal Data on the basis of the following legal bases referred to in Article 6 of the GDPR:<\/span><\/p>\n

Conclusion and performance of the contract \u2014 in order to ensure the processing of the applications or particulars <\/span>received;<\/span> the conclusion of the contract and the subsequent sale of the production.<\/span><\/p>\n

Legitimate interests \u2013 in order to ensure the protection of the rights and interests of data <\/span>subjects, or <\/span>to implement the legitimate interest to carry out direct marketing activities, to provide answers to data subjects’ information requests or complaints.<\/span><\/p>\n

For the fulfillment of legal duties – in order to fulfill the legal obligations imposed on it in accordance with the laws and regulations of the Republic of Latvia and the EU in force, in relation to itself, the authorities of the data subject, state and local government, as well as third parties, such as drawing up and concluding documents corresponding to the requirements specified by law, invoices complying with the requirements for the provision of services;<\/span><\/p>\n

Consent – <\/span>in certain cases, the processing of personal data by data subjects may be carried out with free and unambiguous consent. Transfer of personal data<\/b> – personal data obtained as a result of video surveillance shall not be transferred to third <\/span>parties<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Retention period of personal data<\/b> – CCTV recordings may be stored for a period of up to 30 days from the date they are captured. <\/span>Once this period is expired<\/span>, the CCTV recording shall be deleted immediately in chronological order. If, within that period, signs of an unlawful <\/span>offense<\/span> are detected or a request is received for the provision of the data shown in the CCTV recording, the data shall be stored until the necessary action has been completed.<\/span><\/p>\n
