 Richard Hewitson

QUALIFICATIONS
Richard Hewitson graduated from the Irish Baptist College and Queens University, Belfast (Diploma in Theological Studies, Diploma in Pastoral Studies & Cambridge University Certificate in Christian Studies). Ordained in 1997, Mr Hewitson was Assistant Pastor of Milltown Baptist church, Belfast, for 3 years and a teaching missionary in Latvia from 1996-2003 with his wife, Jean, where he was also involved in the translation and publishing of Christian books and study material. Now resident in the UK he still makes regular teaching visits to Latvia.

BA - South Wales Bible College (Now the Evangelical Theological College of Wales).  
MTh - Spurgeon's College, London, and is working on a DMin at the same institution on the topic of preaching.  John has authored one book Fly on the Fence published by OM Publishing (an imprint of Paternoster) and written articles on Homosexuality, Church Unity, and contemporary culture for a number of UK publications.  John has two dictionary articles in a forthcoming dictionary to be produced by IVP.  John Woods has served as a Pastor for the past 25 years, for 15 years in East Anglia and for nearly ten years in Lancing, West Sussex.  John has been visiting Latvia at least annually since 1993.

Dr. Vitali Petrenko, Director RIBI, 2008

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Dr. Vitali Petrenko is the Director of Riga International Bible Institute (RIBI) in Latvia. Victor has a PhD from Durham University, England. He did his BA and MTh at London School of Theology (an associated school of Middlesex University) in England. Victor's MTh dissertation was published as a book in Russian, “Богословие икон, Протестантская точка зрения, Санкт-Петербург”, «Библия для всех», 2000. This book was later translated into Romanian (2002). He also published an article “West versus East and the Consequences for Russian Christianity”, in the Eurasian Theological Journal, Bogoslovskije razmishleniia, 6, (2006), 69-97. Victor's forthcoming book, The Development of Authority in the Russian Orthodox Church, will be published by Peterlang, Oxford, England.

Donald Clary

QUALIFICATIONS
Dr. Donald Clary, Founder and Director of the Christian non-profit organization Family Living Ministries, is an ordained clergyman who has been ministering in marriage, family counseling and related seminars in the United States for 39 years and since 1993 in Latvia. He is an Honors graduate of Adler Memorial University and has a Doctorate, PhD in Pastoral Counseling from American Bible Institute. Dr. Clary is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and the National Association of Evangelicals. He is a Certified Hospital Chaplain, a graduate of the United States Naval Medical Corps School, and also a court-appointed Special Advocate for abused and neglected children.

Dr. Maurice James Dowling has a BA (Cantab.) in Modern and Medieval Languages, BD (London) in Divinity, and a MTh and PhD from Queen’s University of Belfast (QUB). He has been a tutor at the Irish Baptist College since 1973. He is also a Recognized Teacher of the Institute of Theology, The Queen’s University of Belfast (QUB), United Kingdom since 1977.
