Level A is a basic Biblical education in the areas of Bible, doctrine and ministry. This is accomplished through survey type courses, as well as required projects and practical Christian ministry..
Level B gives emphasis to areas of Biblical study and ministry through more specialized courses in those areas, as well as required project or paper and practical Christian ministry.
All levels seek to produce men and women with a vision to spread the Gospel throughout Latvia and the world.
CERTIFICATE AND DIPLOMA REQUIREMENTS
Level A:
In order to receive a Level A certificate the following requirements must be met: successful completion of the 24 required credits (or approved substitute credits), passing a comprehensive exam, fulfillment of the Christian ministry requirements, meeting our code of conduct and agreeing with our doctrinal statement..
Level A Core Courses:
Old Testament Survey (parts I – IV) 4 credits
New Testament Survey (parts I-IV) 4 credits
Survey of Doctrine (parts I and II) 2 credits
Bible Study Methods (parts I and II) 2 credits
Christian Education (parts I and II) 2 credits
Evangelism 1 credit
Apologetics 1 credit
Survey of Church History 1 credit
Orientation Week 1 credit
Library Research project 2 credits (1 per year)
Required Christian ministry assignment (required each of the 4 semesters) 4 credits
Level B:
Level B diplomas are granted based on successful completion of Level A, the Level B Core Phase (10 credits), Elective Phase (10 credits), and Project/Paper Phase (2 credits) to total a minimum of 22 credits, plus completion of 2 semesters of practical Christian ministry, meeting our code of conduct and agreeing with our doctrinal statement.

Level B Elective Phase (10 credits):
The second phase of the program consists of courses selected by the student from various subject areas.
Students who choose to participate in the “E4-12” evangelism emphasis may receive a Diploma with an “Evangelism Specialization” if they complete 5 Level B evangelism credits.

Level B Paper/Project Phase (2 credits):
This is only a summary. Consult the Paper/Project guidelines for detailed requirements and deadlines. Each Spring a meeting will be held to explain our requirements.
Each student will do a Major project or paper on a topic of their choosing, subject to approval by their advisor. The assignment will take a minimum of 30 hours to complete and must be completed in a professional manner according to our guidelines. All written work must be done on a word processor and must contain a proper bibliography and quality footnotes supporting the argument of the paper. Projects will be presented orally to a panel of faculty members. This project process may begin after the student has completed 10 Level B credits.
